Housing New Zealand are currently going through a period of intensification of a number of their properties to increase the potential yield of their portfolio.
This generally involves the amalgamation of a number of adjacent properties and preparing a comprehensive design of the resulting larger lot to incorporate a range of house sizes, ranging from stand-alone homes to duplex unis.
This project involves the combination of three adjacent properties in Farnborough Cres, Mangere to create a single site of 2025m2. This allows for the creation of a new community made up of 2 stand-alone, five-bedroom houses and 8 two-bedroom duplex units.
To ensure quality design results are achieved we worked closely with council’s Urban Designers and Town Planners to achieve the outcomes they are seeking and to enable successful consent applications
