Who We Are

Hawksworth Architects director and founder Jonathan Hawksworth has been a practicing registered Architect for over 25 years. Over that time, he has been involved with many successful projects of differing types and scales, from modest residential alterations through to mid-size commercial projects. Jonathan approaches all projects with the same outcome in mind, to deliver a quality finished product that responds to all inputs in the best way possible.

Through careful consideration of the client’s brief and balancing the multitude of other specific factors impacting a design (the site, the environment, the budget, planning controls… the list goes on) Jonathan aims to come up with unique design solutions that tick all the boxes in a way that exceeds the owners vision and delivers a built product that improves the way they live.

Architecture is a collaborative exercise and we look forward to the chance of working with you to realize your architectural dreams.

Jonathan Hawksworth

Jonathan graduated from the School of Architecture at the University of Auckland in 1993, and following a short break for travel, has been working as an Architect ever since. Over that time Jonathan has developed an approach to design where delivering a unique response to the clients needs is the primary objective.
